Description:

- Participate in the delivery and retrieval of refrigerator/microwave combination appliances and other items
- Travel to campuses and storage facilities in the DC/Baltimore area
- Work effectively with other MyFridgeRental staff and college staff to efficiently complete these operational items

General Responsibilities:

- Visually inspect inventory for cleanliness and parts
- Professional character and respectful demeanor
- Punctuality and reliability
- Work well together in small teams (2-4 people)
- Collaborate on specific components/logistics of operations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize items
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to overcome adversity
- Communicate and adjust responsibilities as needed
- Flexible schedule depending on operational needs
- Document and communicate metrics and daily recaps
- Respect for staff, vehicles, supplies, inventory

**Requirements**:

- Valid drivers license and DOT Medical Card
- Transportation to Beltsville, MD each day.
- Minimum 1 year experience driving 16-26ft straight box trucks
- Working, fully charged smart phone every day
- Technical ability to use and access Google Apps (sheets, docs, maps, etc)
- Physical ability to maneuver 80 lb. appliances (hand-trucks are provided for easy maneuvering when they are not being lifted

Preferred:

- Recruit and manage small teams (1-3 people) to assist in operational tasks

Compensation:

- Most jobs are completed at per-unit contracted rates depending on quantity, types of inventory being handled, and location
- averaging out to $15-$25 an hour or more
- If the job requires more miscellaneous tasks and can not be broken down into a per-unit rate then the job will be contracted at a flat rate of no less than $15/hour
- Additional incentives (for driving trucks or recruiting additional staff)

- 3-4 months
