Our brokerage specializes in commercial and trucking insurance. We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options
- Sell insurance policies to businesses and owner operators
- Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and follow-up
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in sales, particularly in the insurance industry, is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales deals
- Familiarity with outside sales techniques and telemarketing strategies.
