**Essential Duties**
- Set-up/strike rooms, including tables/chairs and equipment for meetings and events.
- Prepare set-up sheets and cue sheets.
- Operate lighting, audio, media recording and/or video systems.
- Set-up and operate live streaming media in accordance to all ASU procedure and regulations
- Load and unload all related equipment and related props.
- Erect/construct related stage equipment and related props.
- Inventory supplies and equipment.
- Accept cash or checks for purchase of facility related merchandise-in person.
- Transport equipment, personnel and artists, as needed in university vehicle.
- Complete and submit incident reports on all observed incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned, as they relate to the scope of the position.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Two years theatrical/stage production and maintenance experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Employee may be required to possess a valid US Driver’s license of the appropriate class and required endorsements throughout employment.

**Desired Qualifications**
- General knowledge of backstage areas.
- Ability to perform most general functions including but not limited to: event set-up, audio equipment operation, lighting and video equipment operation, livestreaming hardware and software operation, live audio recording and general building maintenance.
- Experience in live music production or studio recording
- Evidence of effective verbal communication skills.
- Ability to drive on university business and possess a valid class D US driver license upon employment.

**Working Environment**
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time.
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to work while being exposed to moderate and sometimes excessive levels of sound.
- Ability to work while being exposed to moving and flashing lights.
- Basic understanding of lighting, sound and video systems.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see, and hear.
- Drive on university business and possess a valid US class D driver license upon employment
