Part-time Recycler

Your Role at Cabot:
This position completes the tasks of recycling at the Tuscola Plant.

Applicants must be a part of the Tuscola High School Co-Op Program in Tuscola, IL for school year 2024-2025.

Part-time position, 29 or less hours a week depending on work available, $15 an hour.

This position is not eligible for benefits.

How You Will Make an Impact:

- Models Cabot values of integrity, respect, excellence, and responsibility. Influences site toward generative team atmosphere. Interacts professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and individuals at all levels of the Cabot organization. Follows work instructions, procedures, and policies.
- Works in a safe manner. Actively participates in Cabot's safety, health, and environmental programs. Keeps work area safe and clean.
- Move bags of used sample containers to recycling location to sweep out silica
- Collect recycle materials throughout the plant to be sorted in the recycling area
- Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to Cabot:

- GED/High School Diploma or a High School Senior
- Willing and able to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills. Able to work independently as well. Self-motivated with a track record of dependability including work history.
- A proven positive safety, health, and environmental record. Familiar with topics such as personal protective equipment, and hazard awareness.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and good touch perception
- Accurate and consistent in performing tasks.
- Highly flexible and able to take on a wide variety of tasks to support team efforts
