Summary

The Logistics Supervisor oversees all aspects of the Bloomsburg Outbound and Inbound operations. Ensures work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with safety rules and regulations, works with Customer Collaboration to satisfy customer requirements by maintaining on-time delivery. Supervises and coordinates shipping and receiving activity via the company's ERP system by performing the following duties listed below but not limited to:

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans and directs order picking, staging, and shipping.
- Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, couriers, and other carriers for movement of shipments.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of all paperwork accompanying shipments, domestic and international.
- Works within the ERP system to handle customer orders and other system activities.
- Resolves customer complaints in a timely and business efficient manner, and implement measures to prevent them from recurring.
- Coordinates resolution on freight claims.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining On-Time Shipping performance.
- Supervises deliveries of materials and supplies.
- Review and approves freight invoices from 3PL, direct freight / parcel carriers, and Freight Forwarders.
- Manages outbound and inbound shipments for and from 3PL to ensure on-time shipments to customers.
- Requisitions department supplies as needed.
- Ensures that all activities conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and other compliance requirements.
- Ensures work area is clean, neat, and orderly.
- Maintains all records and documentation as required.
- Willingness to work off-hours as required.
- Complies with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Participates with others in team improvement projects and 5S company goals.
- Works with Supply Chain Manager on Freight negotiations.
- Other projects, assignments, and duties as required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities_
- Directly supervises Warehouse Utility personnel and Logistics Coordinator. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Said responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree in business-related field and/or minimum 3 years supervisory experience in shipping, warehouse management, or related areas.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to author routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
