Research Associate

**Research and Development Associate**

Silver Lake Research, a leading developer of unique immunodiagnostics, is seeking a Research and Development Associate. This is a full-time position in the R&D department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and development of new LFA tests and other immunoassays
- Communication and collaboration with other SLRC teams and customers
- Continuous reporting of scientific progress to Senior Scientists and the Director of R&D
- Know responsibilities required by quality procedures and ensure adherence

Preferred Qualifications:

- Solid background in the theory and practice of immunoassay techniques
- Direct experience with cell culture and sterile technique
- Experience in immunoassays / immunology / microbiology
- Experience with antibody / protein purification and modification preferred
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and lab management skills
- Computer literacy and strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with mínimal direction

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
