You will be expected to maintain a professional, team oriented, safe, and efficient work place. Work with Human Resources department to make staffing recommendations, coaching and perform disciplinary action as required. Report s directly to Operations Manager and oversee multiple departments throughout our campus.

**Personnel Management Responsibilities**
- Assist in determining staffing requirements, training, hiring, evaluating, and timekeeping
- Promote a team-oriented environment and pride in workmanship.
- Set and communicate goals for direct reports
- Adhere to, communicate, and promote all company policies and procedures
- Record and maintain accurate data on documents as required. Ensure documentation complies with company standards and is completed in a timely manner
- Successfully manage conflict resolution amongst leaders and employees to minimize possible negative impact
- Ensure compliance of all safety policies and procedures and lead employees with the implementation of safety initiatives
- Promote teamwork amongst the leadership staff by fostering an atmosphere of respect and cooperation

**Production Management Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Monitor operations and identify issues in order to take preventive measures that trigger corrective actions
- Form effective business relationships with other department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production and shipping
- Coordinate and direct operations to ensure compliance with plant policies and procedures
- Administer assessments of employee performance
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Address employees' issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest production management best practices and concepts
- Assist in maintaining accurate information in Vestil databases
- Work with purchasing and the procurement team to maintain sufficient inventory levels

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline is preferred or relevant experience
- Proven leadership skills to direct employees toward production goals
- Strong problem solving/resolution skills
- Excellent English written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact within all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Must have an in depth understanding of Vestil's internal programs (Navision, I & P and WLINK)
- Ability to learn and implement Vestil's customer's expectations/packaging requirements
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and efficiency
