Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sponsored Residential Caregiver. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Duties**:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall happiness and quality of life.
- Implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs and preferences of each resident.
- Ensure that residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for residents, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the home.
- Assist with memory care techniques for residents experiencing cognitive decline.
- Safely lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed.
- Utilize electronic systems to document resident care activities accurately.
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of resident rights and understanding of person-centered care principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Please note that all positions at our organization are paid. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
