Boat Tree Marina is hiring an experienced marine technician that can complement our team. Boat Tree is Central Florida’s Largest on the water Boat Dealer. We offer service and repair for inboard or outboard boats and our service staff is Volvo, Suzuki and Yamaha certified.

The Marine Technician position is a key part of our service team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing marine motors for customer and dealer units, in a professional and timely manner that represents the quality Boat Tree is known for. Proficient knowledge of boat systems is a necessary skill to be successful in this position as well.

Diagnosis, Maintain, and Repair:

- Test, inspect, investigate, and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures on customer and dealer vessels
- Repair units correctly the first time to ensure greatest efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Perform routine maintenance on inboard, stern drive and outboard motors
- Recognize safety issues and present findings to service department for customer awareness and increased sales
- Prepare new boats for sales.
- Repair and replace OEM and aftermarket components when applicable
- Install electronics and accessories
- Attention to detail during routine maintenance to recognize additional items that may need to be addressed to ensure customers satisfaction
- Perform river tests for quality assurance

General Duties and Administration:

- Report labor hours to Service Manager
- Compile and submit parts requests to Service and Parts
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Actively pursue and participate in continuing education activities

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Marine Technician: 1 year (required)
- Marine Rigging: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
