**Position: Utility Laborer**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Utility Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Equipment Operators and Foreman to complete job orders efficiently.

**Your day-to-day tasks will include**:

- Collaborating with our experts to work around existing utilities.
- Digging trenches and locating existing utilities, an essential part of our utility construction process.
- Spooling and unspooling cable, providing you with an opportunity to master this skill.
- Assisting in equipment operation and print reading through on-the-job training.
- Loading and unloading work supplies.
- Taking care of equipment maintenance and ensuring a clean and organized job site.

**Physical Demands**:

- Must have efficient eye-hand coordination.
- Must be able to perform physical labor involving frequent lifting (over 50 lbs.), carrying, bending, and shoveling.
- Must be able to work long periods of time, including nights and weekends.

**Additional Duties**:
As you grow within the company, you'll have the chance to take on more responsibilities, such as reporting equipment problems, setting up pedestals, driving ground rods, reading telephone and/or CATV prints, and even operating equipment like a backhoe, trencher, plow, box pusher, or tamper.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
