**Description**: Full time Accounts Payable Clerk needed for the Bedford School District, available immediately.This position processes bi-weekly manifests and other invoice payments for approximately $85M+ budget. This position reports directly to the Business Administrator and will handle the District's accounts payable functions and weekly cash deposit postings.Job Summary: Administer the School District's accounts payable responsibilities through School ERP PRO (Infinite Vision) System. Includes: processing the School District's day to day accounts payable responsibilities within District procurement practices and policies; processing requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and procurement cards; maintaining financial records; and supporting the District's financial procedures, accounting controls, and audit process.Qualifications: At least two years of experience in accounts payable and/or bookkeeping.1. Knowledge of accounts payable and purchasing principles and practices.2.
Experience in data entry use and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets including financial managment accounting software.3. Experience with the School ERP PRO (Infinite Visions) system is helpful.4. High School diploma supplemented by additional training in bookkeeping, accounts payable or related experience; Associates Degree in accounting preferred.Working Conditions: Excellent working environment and benefits package. Hourly wage based on experience and education.Additional Information: Training to be provided.
