As a seasoned professional in Public Education Services, the HS Bridge Program Manager will collaborate with UCSF Pipeline/Pathway programs, schools, and departments on campus, as well as with community-based partners, to increase San Francisco HS students' access to various professional roles within the healthcare sector via robust career pathways.

Using advanced expertise in K-12 public education and career pathways, the HS Bridge Program Manager collaborates with the Pathway Programs Manager. The incumbent leads the student outreach and recruitment strategy that will transform healthcare career pathways. The incumbent will design tailored educational materials and support services focusing on foundational skills and early career exploration. Prior experience in secondary-level programmatic responsibilities and knowledge of effective secondary student engagement, recruitment, and outreach is required.

Reporting to the Pathway Programs Manager, the HS Bridge Program Manager will design and conduct programming and services for San Francisco high school students and facilitate their entry into the pathways programs (Practice Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Radiological Technologist) of the UCSF Workforce Development Impact Initiative, ultimately leading to various professional roles within the healthcare sector.

This area is led by the Office of Diversity & Outreach Center for Science Education and Outreach, and the key roles are:

- Developing and leveraging close relationships with UCSF Pipeline/Pathway programs and school districts, Community-Based Organizations, and other agencies to support CSEO’s structured and strategic approach to guiding San Francisco HS students into various health career pathways
- Identifying and engaging San Francisco HS students via tailored outreach efforts and extending engagement to populate the Practice Coordinator, Medical Assistant, and Radiological Technologist career pathway programs
- Facilitating additional UCSF support services for San Francisco HS students, such as mentoring, tutoring, and career guidance; tailoring educational materials focusing on foundational skills and early healthcare career exploration
- Assisting/contributing to developing pathway programs marketing materials, including social media, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all UCSF Workforce Development Impact Initiative partners, organizing/assisting with joint partner events such as workshops, information sessions, and career fairs
- Manage the HS Bridge Program to support up to 100 San Francisco HS students annually over four years; plan and coordinate program activities
- Develop a strategic plan to collect and synthesize pathway program data to develop impact reports
- Collaborating and assisting the UCSF Workforce Development Impact Initiative Pathway Program Director and team

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $75,700 - $160,500 (Annual Rate).

**Department Description**

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in related area and minimum five years of related experience; and/or equivalent experience/training
