Groundskeeper/maintenance

We are looking for a versatile individual who can fulfill the dual role of groundskeeper, maintenance person, and driver. As a groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our premises.

As a maintenance person, you will ensure the upkeep and functionality of our residential property.

As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to various locations as needed. This will require safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, adherence to traffic laws, and regular vehicle maintenance checks.

**Duties**:
General Grounds Maintenance:

- Sweeping sidewalks and parking lots.
- Removing debris and litter from outdoor areas.
- Cleaning outdoor furniture and fixtures.

Equipment Maintenance:

- Cleaning and maintaining various tools and equipment.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning.

General maintenance:

- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting for plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and fixtures.
- Handle light carpentry work, such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
- General knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

Special Projects:

- Assisting with the setup and teardown of outdoor events and activities.
- Collaborating with other departments on special projects.
- Participating in seasonal landscaping initiatives, such as holiday decorations.

Record Keeping:

- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities performed.
- Tracking inventory of materials and supplies.
- Communicating any issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.

Customer Service:

- Interacting with residents, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Addressing inquiries and requests related to landscaping and grounds maintenance.
- Representing the organization positively through excellent service and attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure the proper care and maintenance of outdoor spaces.
- Safety Consciousness: Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Reliability: Dependability in fulfilling job responsibilities and adhering to assigned schedules.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
