Stockroom Supervisor

**JOB SUMMARY**:
This position oversees the supervision of all areas of the Stockroom and Receiving. Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items; oversees the receiving of products and materials, the loading/unloading of trucks, and the interdepartmental transfer of items and materials.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Meets operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implements production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolves problems; identifies system improvements
- Delivers supplies and materials to departments by receiving and transferring items
- Maintains stockroom and dock areas by organizing floor space and recommending improvements
- Directs and monitors department supervisors/managers to accomplish the goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures
- Maintains inventory by conducting monthly cycle counts and actively participating in the annual physical inventory
- Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce costs

This position has direct reports.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience in stockroom and receiving activities
- 2 or more years of experience in a lead or supervisory role

**ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Solid computer skills with a proficiency in Windows-based programs
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Must be a forward-thinker with a continuous improvement mindset

- Eye protection
