Our Plumbing Underground crew is responsible for:

- Assembles pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and/or welding equipment.
- Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water/air and observes pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks. Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe using hand power tools or machines.
- Repairs plumbing, replaces defective washers, mends broken pipes, and opens clogged drains. Installs underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
- Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify the cause of errors, safety hazards, or other issues, and solutions or escalates them appropriately.
- Facilitates knowledge transfer and teaches trade skills to less experienced employees.
- Will be expected to properly layout and install underground piping for residential homes.
- Must understand test out procedures for municipal inspection. Employee will also be expected to have standard knowledge of plumbing codes for the installation that they are responsible for.

**Requirements**:

- Must have 1 year of Plumbing residential installer experience
- Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report
- Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute plumbing jobs
- Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations.
- This job operates in a construction site environment and may be outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions or inside conditions.
- Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company’s standard timeframe.
