Medical Receptionist

Ambulatory Surgical Center currently seeking a full-time front office representative who assumes the responsibility for the coordination of an effective, efficient admission process for all patients by guiding them through the admission process. Representative will also assume the responsibility of assembling patients records before and after procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greets and assists patients in person
- Ensures verification of insurance, accepts co-pays and/or cash pays, and completes payment agreements
- Receives incoming call and completes preadmission phone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
- Daily communication with referring surgeon’s office staff
- Prepares and maintains patient records and completes paperwork according to policy and procedure
- Answer income calls with professionalism and communicate effectively with patients.

**Required Skills**:

- Medical office experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professionalism and team-oriented individual
- Ability to multi-task between required responsibilities
