**ORLANDO HEALTH - HEALTH CENTRAL HOSPITAL is looking for a Nursing Operations Manager for our Medical Care Unit.**

Located in west Orlando, Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital is a 252-bed comprehensive medical and surgical acute-care facility that has been serving the residents of west Orange County for more than 70 years. Our 43 bed Medical Services unit is looking for a dynamic leader to guide our talented team.

Our hospital has earned accreditations and designations in many specialty services. We also have been recognized as a High Performing Hospital in diabetes, heart attack and heart failure by U.S. News & World Report for 2023-2024 and received an “A” Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Spring 2023.

Our medical care unit provides nursing care to acutely ill adult patients and their families. Clinically, the unit provides general medical care and remote telemetry monitoring. This department is also a cohort unit for our oncology and congestive heart failure patients and peritoneal dialysis patients. Additionally, this unit is a dedicated educational unit (DEU) with some of our local nursing schools. Nursing students complete their entire clinical experience on this unit. **Education/Training**

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Graduate degree in Business or health-related field preferred.

**Licensure/Certification**
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

**Experience**
Two (2) years as a registered nurse in an acute care setting and one (1) year leadership experience.
