St. Anne’s Family Services is seeking dedicated people to join our Early Head Start education program as an **Early Head Start Teacher I** You will directly impact young children, from the ages of **0-3 years old **and be responsible for the overall monitoring and active care and supervision of the children in the classroom.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Provide** diapering and personal care to every child while maintaining a hygienic environment. Assist with dressing and personal care routines for infants and toddlers.
- **Nurture** children in an environment that includes activities to help children develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
- **Implement** program curriculum for children and conduct daily classroom planning.
- **Collaborate** with staff to provide information and resources to enrolled families.
- **Integrate** parent involvement, social services, nutrition, health, and mental health services into the learning.
- **Plan** a program of activities that support and enhance the role of parents as the main educators of their children, with a focus on school-readiness goals.
- **Maintain **records and routinely submit reporting.
- **Observe**, **screen**, and **assess** child development levels.
- **Develop **individualized goals that relate to the child’s development while meeting the unique needs of each child by aligning with their interests, abilities, strengths, and pace of learning.

**About You**:

- Associate of Arts (AA) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field required
- **Minimum of 3 Infant/Toddler Development course units required at the time of hire**:

- **6 Infant/Toddler Development course units required by the end of the first year of employment**:

- English proficiency required
- Travel to all centers in all service areas, as required
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License required
- Valid automobile insurance required
- Bilingual English, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Korean preferred

- Pay Rate**:$22.50 - $24.50 per hour**, based on degree earned
- Monday to Friday, between the hours of **07:00 AM - 04:00 PM**:

- We have the following work cycles for some of our schools based on their program year:

- 9.5 months, 10.5 months, 11.5 months, 12 months\
- The opportunity to support other schools when your school is not in session.
- Full-time
