Attic/insulation Specialist

Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit into walls, attics, or crawl spaces
- Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose using appropriate tools and techniques
- Seal gaps or cracks to prevent air leaks and moisture intrusion
- Remove old insulation when required before installing new materials
- Work with a variety of materials including plaster, caulking, drywall, stucco, and airless paint spraying
- Fabricate and install pre-formed insulation sections
- Follow blueprints or schematics to ensure accurate placement of insulation
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate equipment related to HVAC systems

Qualifications:

- High school or equivalent (required)
- Driver's License (required)
- Great verbal communication skills with the ability to take direction
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills, a positive team player
- Punctuality and attention to detail
- Current valid Driver's License in the state of employment
- Experience in working in both attic and small crawl spaces
- Ability to work in various types of weather/temperature
- Operation of an assigned company vehicle to travel throughout the state
- Proven experience in insulation installation or related field
- Familiarity with a variety of insulation materials and techniques
- Ability to interpret schematics and follow technical instructions
- Proficiency in using tools such as saws, drills, and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is a plus

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and double check work order and load truck with all supplies needed
- Set up ladders, tarps, hose, drills were needed at the job-site
- Hook up insulation machine to a power source
- Run, operate and load machine with insulation for the duration of the job
- Check equipment for proper cleanliness, operation, and necessary repairs
- Clean up tarps and vacuum up any debris left behind
- Manage and track tools and equipment as you reload the truck at the days end
- Sweep up any debris outside the house that we may have caused
- Check in with homeowner for their satisfaction on clean up
- Travel throughout region including some overnight travel may be required
- Will be cross-trained in other areas of pest control
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
