Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our metal stamping team in Addison, IL. Primary objective will be to manage tool room activities to keep presses running efficiently throughout the day.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Make, rework, and repair production tooling as required per prints and instructions
- Experience with Perkins, Minster, and Bruderer presses
- Thorough knowledge of all equipment capabilities
- Maintain safe operations of all equipment
- Assist with organization of production activities
- Physical ability to operate all equipment if need arises
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders,
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop new tooling designs or improve existing ones
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create or modify tooling designs
- Strong project management skills
- Problem solver
- Spanish speaking a plus

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
