Cad Drafter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design software. Your drawings will be used by architects, engineers, and construction professionals to guide the construction and manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position with competitive pay starting at $30 an hour.

**Duties**:

- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements
- Review and analyze project specifications, sketches, and other relevant documents
- Incorporate design changes and modifications as necessary
- Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Prepare drawings for construction and manufacturing purposes
- Collaborate with team members to resolve design issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, AlphaCam, V-Carve, Mozaik, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve design issues or discrepancies
- Experience in the cabinetry industry
- Familiarity with Cabinetry, both frameless and face frame construction
- knowledge of the fabrication process, with various materials (Laminate, Solid Surface, Solid wood, ect.)

Preferred Skills:

- The ability to help in project management, estimation, and purchasing is preferred
- Ability to perform hands on fabrication if required would be greatly appreciated but very occasional.
