**Position**:Shipping Receiving Warehouse Associate [2nd SHIFT]

**Department**: Production

Schedule

Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required.

2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm, flexibility in end time is necessary.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor/Manager, SRW Associates work directly with the Packhouse and Fleet departments. SRW associates are responsible for executing sales orders with food safety and product quality in mind. This position involves ensuring the accuracy of outgoing/incoming orders, utilizing software to print labels, properly packing product to retain quality, organizing shipments, and loading trucks. On top of the daily shipment schedule, SRW Associates are tasked with keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

**Essential Functions and Requirements**:

- Observes safety protocols and if applicable, manufacturer’s instructions when performing tasks.
- Wears all necessary protective equipment, including work gloves, eye protection, proper clothing and footwear, and disposable gloves given the task at hand.
- Follows food safety policies and procedures, including maintaining the correct temperature of the product, and using the proper procedure to wash and sanitize hands before every shift and when returning to work.
- Stores, stacks, or palletizes products and materials, and examines and reports deterioration and damage.
- Checks inventory of goods and materials of entire operation with open communication to supervisor.
- Verifies the accuracy and quality of product coming into the warehouse, received orders and outgoing shipments.
- Verifies for accuracy all purchase order, BOL, and shipping documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Records all daily outgoing truck and driver activity in designated area.
- Inspects all trailers and ensures all trucks meet all food safety criteria prior to loading.
- Prepares finished product for shipment or storage, ensuring that it is placed correctly in the shipping area.
- Ensures that shipments are properly packaged, identified with all the required shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.
- Ensures that the storage cooler equipment is working properly and reports any problems immediately to supervisor and maintenance personnel.
- Operates equipment to move product and materials around the premises, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Interacts with truck and delivery drivers in a professional and efficient manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to lift minimum 30 pounds as this is a physical job.
- Works both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to be reliable, dependable, and adaptable.
- Self-starter, motivated, and proactive.
- Maintains stable and professional performance under pressure or opposition.
- Enjoy working in an active environment with majority of the day being spent on your feet.
