**Medical Biller/Coder | Full-Time | Ventura, CA**

**About Us and Our Role**:
Join our healthcare team in Ventura We're looking for a detailed-oriented **Medical Biller/Coder** to handle medical claims and coding for our busy office. Initially training in Oxnard, you'll soon be an integral part of our Ventura location. This role is perfect for professionals skilled in **ICD-10, CPT coding**, and familiar with **Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO** insurances.

**What We Offer for Our Medical Biller/Coder Role**:

- **Starting Rate**: $21-$22/hr.
- **Location**: Oxnard (training) then Ventura, CA
- **Schedule**: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

**Medical Biller/Coder Role Responsibilities**:

- Accurate coding of surgical and E&M services
- Efficient claim submission and payment tracking
- Proactive claims follow-up and appeals handling
- Comprehensive insurance verification and collections

**Medical Biller/Coder Role Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in medical billing and coding
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Certification in medical coding is preferred but not required
- Experience with a range of insurances including Medicare and Medi-Cal

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
