**Salary**: $43,800 / year

**What you'll do**:
Community Connectors main focus is helping people access community resources: Social Security, Mass Health, Special interest connections: book clubs, outdoor clubs, social groups etc. They also help people explore their community and learn how to ride the bus, find volunteer opportunities, self-help groups etc. A portion of their time is spent visiting other agencies and programs to find resources that may benefit or meet the needs of our clients.

The ACCS Community Connector will work to ensure successful community integration by connecting adults with psychiatric conditions with available community resources to promote successful integration into their communities. The ACCS Community Connector helps support Person Served as citizens living within communities and works to ensure that everyone has access to community resources and social networks within the community. The ACCS Community Connector will provide both Person Served and ACCS staff with information about community resources and entitlements/benefits available to them. The ACCS Community Connector will also provide interventions to support Person Served in preparing for, seeking and keeping wanted employment and/or educational opportunities.

**Requirements/Preferences**:

- Bachelor's degree in human services, Master's degree in Human Services, or very experienced direct care staff preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience working with adults with psychiatric conditions
- Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport Person Served.
- All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
