Master Production Scheduler

Maintex manufactures a wide variety of cleaning chemicals in our City of Industry production facility. We are looking for an experienced master production scheduler to plan, schedule, and coordinate an efficient production process including bulk chemical blending and high speed filling operations.
Utilize data from reports, spreadsheets, and the ERP to understand customer demand and inventory levels. Incorporate sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and demand spikes when planning future production. Track resource availability to optimize daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. Works with production floor to understand manpower, maintenance team to schedule PMs, and purchasing to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging components.
Provide clear and accurate communication to sales, customer service, transportation, and other departments. Measure and report on lead times, plan attainment, and performance.
**Requirements**:
- High School diploma or greater, college degree preferred
- At least 5 years experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, forecasting, etc.
- A demonstrated progression of skills and responsibility
- At least 2 years experience with batch production, preferably filling or bottling operations
- Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, or another quality management system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish language a plus.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent Excel and computer skills. Experience with Redzone a plus.
