**Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership**: Act as a role model and mentor to the veterinary staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members, ensuring the highest level of patient care and customer service.
- **Patient Care**: Collaborate closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to oversee and coordinate patient care. Ensure that all medical treatments, procedures, and protocols are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- **Emergency Management**: Demonstrate proficiency in handling emergent situations, making swift decisions, and directing the team in high-pressure scenarios. Prioritize and triage cases based on severity.
- **Client Communication**: Interact with clients compassionately and effectively, addressing their concerns, providing updates on patient status, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout their experience.
- **Training and Development**: Assist in training new team members, ensuring they are well-versed in protocols, procedures, and best practices. Facilitate ongoing education and skill development for the veterinary team.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary care.
- **Strong Communication**: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
