**Overview**

Sun Dental Labs is currently looking for a Removables QC Technician for a Dental Lab. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the dental field.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Design cases for cast partials, flexible partials, dentures, and some simple ortho appliances, all from models, pictures, and/or scans that labs and doctor submit. Have a full understanding on how they are made from start to finish and what their limitations are for each product.
- Ability to help troubleshoot a product over the phone and be comfortable talking to a doctor while the patient is in the chair.
- Good time management - keep on a schedule and complete cases on/before due date
- Repair applicable cases
- Manufacture custom trays
- Develop base plates
- Pour models for removables department
- Assist data entry to enter cases
- Knowledge of some implants and precision attachments and their components is a plus
- Knowledge of some crown and bridge is a plus but not necessary
- CDT is a big plus but not necessary
- Must be able to work well under stress and be a team player

**Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)**
- Minimum of 5 years dental experience required
- Familiarity with hand tools and other laboratory equipment
- Experience with a high volume of incoming/outgoing cases
- Ability to work in a fast paced and goal-oriented environment
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft systems
