Overall Responsibility:
The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management Systems ensuring product compliance to internal and customer specifications as well as compliance to Toolcraft processes. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring that new products meet all customer and Toolcraft quality and documentation requirements when they are launched into production. Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes.Management of metrology equipment and related processes.Reports to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversight of the Quality Management System
- Oversight of metrology equipment & calibration
- Preparation of PPAPs FEMAs per customer requirements.
- Improve product quality by preparing reports through data collection, analysis, and summarizing data, making recommendations for change to processes and procedures.
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
- Oversight of product inspections, document results and findings.
- Develops and maintains departmental work instructions to ensure policies and procedures are established and followed.
- Develop balloon drawing and inspection reports.
- Primary owner of the annual audit process for ISO certification; manages the process including scheduling and completing the audit process alongside outside auditor.
- Verifies conformance of products prior to shipment to customer.
- Verifies all Quality records and documentation are compliant to customer requirements.
- Compiles quality data sends to customer prior to shipment.
- Verifies data from raw material certifications for compliance to customer specification.
- Reviews Nonconforming Material Reports, coordinating with Manufacturing Engineer to disposition.
- Prepare and manage product nonconformance including submittal of corrective action to customer.
- Provide quality support to all manufacturing personnel as needed.
- Complete all quality documentation in a consistent, timely manner.
- Perform training of inspectors, machinists and other personnel.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience driving continuous improvement and process improvement in manufacturing operations in a quality role.
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Romer Arm, GD&T, and ISO 9001 experience.

Skills/Abilities:

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS
- Knowledge of machine shop process, including turning and milling
- Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and other risk management tools
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and process improvement ability
- Demonstrated statistical analysis skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organizations and external contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
