**Schedule**: 2-day, Weekends Live-in

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and assistance to an elderly man in Stamford, CT. The client has dementia and is total care. The client's family is looking for someone who has dementia experience and experience with bed bound care. This position is for weekends, either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Pay is $249 per day.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Companionship
- Bed bathing
- Repositioning the client from time to time
- Assistance with transfers
- Assistance with dressing
- Feeding the client
- Oral care
- Incontinence care
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping

**Qualifications**:

- A love for the senior community
- A compassionate and upbeat attitude
- Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Dedication to professional development
- A minimum of 1-year experience in care giving for seniors
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
- Possess a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, valid auto insurance and a good driving record
- Possess a State ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate
- Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
- Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
- Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders)
- Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping).
- Caregivers must be able to work with mínimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
