Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes learning and development in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special education needs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Plan and organize daily activities that are engaging and educational
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and respected

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Basic understanding of literacy education for young children
- Familiarity with preschool care routines and developmental milestones
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
