Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2nd shift Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation and logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient dispatch equipment, while maintaining effective communication with drivers, and customers.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of equipment and drivers, ensuring on-time delivery
- Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using transportation management systems
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues or delays
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
- Manage fleet resources effectively to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in dispatching or related roles within transportation industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dispatching procedures, fleet management, and transportation planning
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) or related software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and team members
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
