CAD Draftsman - Tempe, AZ

**Job Duties**:

- Create fully detailed engineering drawings that contain all necessary information, proper dimensioning and required specifications for:
▪ Include weld symbols and weld instructions
▪ Machine fabrication callouts including machining notes
▪ Assemblies, including assembly instructions
▪ Exploded diagrams, etc.
- Ensure that all engineering documents are kept updated and properly recorded
- Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM’s) in the manufacturing software system
- Coordinate with others to resolve design and manufacturing issues
- Modify and revise existing designs, drawings and BOMs using the Engineering Change Process
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to absorb new information and learn about technological advances from daily work activities

**Qualifications**:

- Expert knowledge of SolidWorks, MS Excel, and MS Word
- 5 years experience required in SolidWorks
- Excellent communications (oral and written) skills
- Technical Degree in Drafting (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of industrial plumbing and piping equipment, i.e., valves, pumps, and fittings, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Desire for continuous improvement

**Job Types**: Full-time Employee

**Pay**: DOE

- Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
