The Theatre Scholar in Residence will:

- Teach a 1/1 course load.
- Create and execute an event, research, exhibition or performance during the residency.
- Attend monthly meetings during the academic year with the Director of Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center and cohort of fellow scholars.
- Attend CWMCA & SoTD events and serve as a community ambassador for UH.

This position is a nine-month appointment with an option for renewal. Salary is $45,000 with a $1250 budget for project support.

**Qualifications**:
Applicants must have completed a graduate degree in theatre (either MFA or PhD). Applicants should have definitive interdisciplinary research interests they wish to pursue while a Scholar in Residence.
