Casino Tour Guide I

The Role:
The main purpose of this role is to engage, inform, and entertain guests of the Catalina Casino through a combination of guided tours and impromptu interactions. Lead our guests on a journey though time as they explore the first theatre built for talking motion pictures and the world’s largest circular dance floor and experience the Big Band Era of the 30s and 40s.

Additionally, this position may be called upon to fulfill the responsibilities of a Casino Operations Assistant, providing support for all aspects of the Catalina Casino’s daily and special event operation, including but not limited to technical assistance, stage management, guest control, concierge service, box office operation, and concession sales.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver exceptional tours of the Catalina Casino.
- Study and memorize scripts and additional historical references.
- Assist Casino Operations staff with ticket sales, concessions, and other operational responsibilities.
- Help keep Casino clean and show-ready.
- Reports to Casino Manager, Activities.
- Receives performance direction from Creative Director, Activities.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Enthusiasm for Public Speaking
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Strong memorization skills

Education and/or Experience:

- High School Graduate / GED
- Tour Guide experience a plus.
