**Bilingual** **(Spanish/English) Receptionist Wanted**

**Location**: Wilkes-Barre, PA

**Shift**: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

**Compensation**: $ 17.00 per hour

**Status**: Full or Part-time, non-exempt

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Fluently speaks, translates, and writes in both Spanish and English. Utilizes these skills to provide customer assistance in the preferred language of their choice.
- Receives and distributes office mail including electronic mail.
- Communicates routine and general information to staff, customers, and/or public about agency services, processes and procedures using prescribed or established guidelines.
- Provides administrative support to program staff/departments as assigned.

**Requirement**:

- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience performing administrative/receptionist duties.

**Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Ability to read and speak in Spanish is REQUIRED.
- Must have basic knowledge of general office equipment, tools and software.
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a group/time.
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, exercise independent judgement and to demonstrate flexibility in balancing the needs of the department.
