Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesRe: Outside Grounds It is requested that the following information be brought to the attention of the custodial staff in the Brockton Public Schools. The School Department is advertising the position of Outside Grounds.Qualifications: 1.Ability to work constructively and interact professionally with others.2.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.

3.Ability to coordinate and respond to emergencies and work effectively in stressful situations.4.Knowledge of best practices for safety. 5.Must have a current hydraulics license.Duties and responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)1.Able to operate all mechanical equipment used for outside grounds.2.Ability to coordinate and respond to all weather-related emergencies.3.Must be proficient in all matters of maintaining a safe working environment. 4.Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Facilities and his/her designee.5.Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.Compensation: According to contract (A-4)
