**Job Summary and Qualifications**:

- You will provide intensive monitoring of patients emerging from anesthesia
- You will provide monitoring includes airway maintenance, SA02 status, vital signs, Cardiac arrhythmias, paralysis, pain management, and agitation
- You will maintain patient records and documents according to standards
- You will direct ancillary staff. Maintains vigilance of patient progression toward meeting discharge criteria
- You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
- You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

**What qualifications you will need**:

- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current California Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
- BLS, ACLS & PALS required
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in critical care or recovery room nursing
- Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course

Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Riverside has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
