Production Batch Coordinator

Grouse Hunt Farms is in search of a conscientious, meticulous Production Batch Coordinator to maintain responsibility for all ingredient and packaging needs for the company’s daily production runs at our facility in Tamaqua, PA. This individual will need to be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize tasks seamlessly, while also keeping thorough records of inventories & work completed.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

- Pulling, weighing & batching all ingredients for upcoming production runs with complete accuracy based on daily batch sheets
- Completing ingredient inventories at least monthly, getting ahead of any potential inventory concerns before they occur
- Exercising the utmost care to ensure all items batched are done completely and precisely
- Communicating any potential issues or shortages to management immediately
- Keeping thorough records of all lot codes utilized
- Prioritizing work and processes to facilitate meeting the requirements of the daily and weekly batching schedule
- Ensuring all items batched meet company quality and safety standards, communicating any concerns to management right away
- Participating actively in all team meetings
- Collaborating with Management on any ingredient-related concerns or issues
- Communicating effectively with all employees & management

Position Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in a food processing environment
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP or other Manufacturing Processes preferred
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to read & understand ingredient names and product codes in English
- Strong record keeping skills
- Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- High level of accountability, accuracy and efficiency, especially when multitasking
- Exceptional attendance and punctuality
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
