Shipping Logistics Manager

**JOB SUMMARY**

**Monday to Friday 8am-5pm**

Oversee all aspects of managing the Shipping Department and staff. Responsible for making sure all packages are shipped and ensuring daily goals are met in a timely and efficient manner. Also, need to support all branches with there shipping needs.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitor the Boxers and Processors daily shipping assignments to make sure that jobs are boxed and invoiced appropriately
- Maintain positive relationships with shipping carriers (Fedex, DHL, UPS, and USPS)
- Ensure that all parts/components are packaged, billed and labeled correctly to expedite delivery to the designated destination
- Ensure pick-up schedule with carriers are maintained
- Report any delivery issues to carrier
- Act as liaison with the Sales department regarding any order changes, etc.
- Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
- Maintain an organized shipping environment
- Keep shipments on schedule
- Any other duties as directed by supervisor or management.
- Manage all LTL and TL shipments both inbound and outbound
- Order shipping supplies and work with suppliers of shipping supplies.
- File shipping damage claims and maintain good records.
- Monitor all shipping returns and correct any issues.

May be modified from time, to time. Other duties may be assigned.

Shipping experience required.

International shipping experience required.

- Frequent walking
- Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
- Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

**EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY**

Introductory Review
- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
- Quarterly Reviews - Employee will be given a brief written quarterly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
- Annual Reviews - Quarterly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.

**WORK SCHEDULE**

The schedule for this position is an 8 hour day between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for overtime as needed.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The environment is a shipping area. Dress attire is casual but professional in a shipping setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
