This experienced Research Associate is a support role in a proteomic service laboratory. The Research Associate will be responsible for proteomic sample preparation, preparation of buffers, running gels, supporting customer requests and responding to technical inquiries. This role with require a collaboratively minded individual with strong technical knowledge and desire to join a high performing group. This is a 6-month consulting role with the opportunity to transition into a long-term role which will be opening in 2025.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform independent sample preparation and assist with MS.
- Provide technical support to and expert recommendations to researchers and technical teams.
- Support Scientist with method development and troubleshooting
- Maintain laboratory instruments, perform preventive maintenance, interact with equipment vendors when needed to resolve problems and ensure the equipment is in proper working order.
- Keep abreast of developments in the field.

**Requirements**:

- MS with one year of post-grad experience or a BS level with 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
