- Enter received vendor invoice cost accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with Department and Corporate procedures.
- Ensure timely payment of outstanding vendor invoices, capturing maximum available discounts on all payments.
- Perform research and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Initiate contact with internal and external parties, as needed, for supporting documents or missing information.
- Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.

What you need for this position:
- Background in Construction or related industry highly preferred.
- 2-4 years of Accounting-related experience; Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform high-volume work with mínimal errors and supervision.
- Ability to communicate courteously and proactively with all levels within the company.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and vendor transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. preferred.
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable.
- Must have the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
