**Investment Operations Team Lead**

The Investment Operations Team Lead must be capable of guiding Investment Operations Associates and Analysts through the successful execution and recording of capital calls and distributions across both discretionary and non-discretionary clients. The Investment Operations Team Lead must display leadership competency and excellent judgement. The Investment Operations Team Lead must be capable of interacting with all levels of investment staff and should serve as an advisor on investment operations related matters.

The Investment Operations Team Lead must also advise and inform procedural processes based on day-to-day operations. The Investment Operations Team Lead must also be capable of evaluating the accuracy and development of guiding Investment Operations Associates and Analysts. The Investment Operations Team Lead will work with other MIG departments to ensure proper workflow, recommend and initiate workflow improvements, and increase inter‑department communication.

This position will report to the Investment Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the accurate and timely execution of trade activity related to discretionary relationships and their investments.
- Provides guidance to and develops other Investment Operations Associates and Analysts in investment operations matters.
- Continuously monitor and post financial information to the broader team and portals.
- Monitor investments and follow-up with General Partners/Managers to receive missing or more detailed information as it relates to cash flows and valuations.
- Provide information surrounding cash flows on an ad-hoc basis.
- Evaluate, maintain, and improve technology related to document storage and fund accounting as necessary.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree with evidence of strong academic achievement.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of Operations and process driven tasks
- Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data from disparate sources.
- Superb computer skills, including facility with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skill at analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing quantitative information
- Excellent attention to detail and organized work habits.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under time pressure.
- Ability to work well with internal employees and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and to proactively seek new responsibilities.
