Director of Food

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability in the food and beverage department
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth
- Plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate functions, and fundraisers
- Ensure exceptional guest service by training and supervising staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food and beverage services for special events
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize profitability
- Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for supplies and services
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in food and beverage management or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in event planning, fundraising, and event marketing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and control costs
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
