Construction Laborer

We are currently seeking a skilled Drywall and Taping Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our standard of excellence.

As a Drywall and Taping Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall panels, ensuring that all surfaces are seamless and ready for final decoration. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Able to work at heights up to 24 ft on scaffolding and other equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit spaces within buildings.
- Tape and smooth joints and imperfections, creating a uniform, seamless surface.
- Ensure that all surfaces are prepared to accept paint and other finishes.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines are met.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with building codes.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in drywall installation and taping.
- Strong understanding of construction, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift drywall panels and other odd shapes and sizes safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Effective communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: $20.15 - $28.00 per hour
