Pilates Education

Riser Fitness, LLC, a leading multi-unit developer of the Club Pilates franchise system, is seeking an experienced Education Coordinator to oversee and elevate the performance of our Pilates studios in a developing market. TheEducation Coordinator will be instrumental in building and supporting a team of Instructors and Lead Instructors in the region as we open new studios. Additionally, the Education Coordinator will provide guidance and mentorship to ensure the quality of instruction while also maintaining brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Mentorship:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Lead Instructors and Pilates Instructors, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Host monthly Lead Instructor conference calls to facilitate knowledge-sharing, discuss industry trends, and align on best practices.
- Work with Lead Instructors in each market to plan and coordinate calendar of instructor workshops
- Individual Development:

- Conduct monthly one-on-one calls with each Lead Instructor to provide personalized coaching, address concerns, and support individual professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for skill development and coordinate additional training or resources as needed.
- Schedule Optimization:

- Collaborate with District Managers, Lead Instructors and General Managers to optimize studio schedules, ensuring that class types, times, and levels are strategically planned to maximize client satisfaction and studio occupancy.
- Quality Assurance:

- Monitor and maintain Club Pilates education standards, ensuring that all instructors consistently deliver exceptional Pilates classes.
- Regularly review instructors for proficiency and performance, providing tailored feedback and mentorship.
- Biannual reviews of Lead Instructors’ classes in their region.
- Client Experience:

- Uphold a commitment to client safety and satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Oversee that all social media content aligns with Club Pilates brand guidelines, reflecting proper form and safety standards.
- Professional Development:

- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development among the team.
- Encourage and support staff in attending continued education trainings and seminars.
- Teacher Training Program
- Promote Teacher Training within the community
- Host in-studio Teacher Training Info Sessions
- Aid students with mentorship as needed
- May include phone/video calls, workshops, etc.
- Assist TT students on the Apprenticeship path
- May include support to become an apprentice, reviewing flows while under apprenticeship, etc.
- Continuing Education
- Propose outside education and trainings for your market(s)
- EX: Erika Quest, Barre Above, TRX, etc.
- Once approved, contact and schedule educators/workshop
- Promote to Riser team and surrounding areas when open to the public
- Instructor Hiring
- Conduct or coordinate auditions
- Instructor recruiting
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the fitness industry.
- Strong knowledge of Pilates with a 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Punctual, reliable, and adaptable to new developments in the fitness industry.
