**We are searching for a talented **Phlebotomist**

**$5,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)**

**Hours: 40hrs**

**Shift: Day shift; 8:30am - 5:00pm**

**Location: Primary Care - Fall River, MA**

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

**Responsibilities**:
Under the general supervision and direction of the Office Manager or designee, assure proper identification of patient and prepare patient for Phlebotomy procedures. Perform veni-puncture, capillary punctures, and/or other special Laboratory procedures on assigned patients. Complete patient requisitions. Centrifuge samples and prepare aliquots of specimens. Log and prepare various specimens to be sent to other outside Laboratories, Physicians, other hospitals, etc. Collect and prepare various human samples for analysis.

Qualifications:

- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training is required.
- Certification from an approved Phlebotomy Certification Program is required.- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range: USD $21.00 - USD $28.25 /Hr.
