Head Dive Coach

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coach to join our team. As the Head Dive Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our Dive team in practices and competitions, ensuring the development and success of our athletes. This is a paid position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement training programs for athletes in diving.
- Provide instruction and guidance to athletes on proper techniques, strategies, and skills
- Plan and organize practice sessions
- Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Create strategies for competitions
- Monitor athlete progress and make necessary adjustments to training programs
- Ensure the safety of athletes during practices and competitions, including implementing appropriate safety measures
- Collaborate with assistant coaches to coordinate team activities
- Manage team logistics, including scheduling practices and meets
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff members

**Skills**:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Background in diving and coaching
- Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels
- Knowledge of diving and competitions in diving
- Ability to educate athletes on proper techniques and skills development
- Effective communication skills to interact with athletes, parents, and staff members

Note: Lifeguard certification is a plus but not required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
