Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. CHH offers personalized attention from an expert team of caregivers and physicians that utilize advanced technology and clinical partnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patient environment.

**Duties**:
The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices, additional is responsible for maintaining inventory, dispatch scheduling and Epic registration.Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on excellent patient exceptional patience and quality **_service and _**outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- High School graduate or equivalent or successful completion of Phlebotomy program
- 1 year phlebotomy experience
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube
