**Nikolaus & Hohenadel, LLP** is a mid-size, Lancaster County law firm. Serving individuals, businesses and families throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Our firm’s mission is to provide quality legal services efficiently and in a timely manner to our clients.

We are currently seeking a **full time, experienced, Estate Paralegal** to work in person, at our Lancaster office. This position will assist in all aspects of Estate Administration.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare documents for probate and initial client meeting.
- Work with the personal representative(s) of an estate to value, collect, and preserve assets of the estate, transfer title of assets, and maintain accounts at financial institutions for the estate.
- Prepare inheritance, estate, and income tax returns.
- Prepare account upon distribution of assets disclosing the receipts and disbursements that occurred during the administration of the estate.
- Prepare required documents in connection with the distribution to estate beneficiaries.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of 3 years in the practice of estate administration, preferably with experience with Pennsylvania Estates.
- Experience Lackner Estate Administration software
- Experience in estate administration preparing probate documents, tax documents, and accounts.
- Ability to maintain a checkbook and to read statements from financial institutions.
- Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with legal terminology pertinent to the area of assignment.
- Notary Public commission preferred or willingness to obtain.
