Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Strategic Procurement Contract Manager - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities include:
Responsible for leading, facilitating, and managing the solicitation and contracts process at FAU in accordance with the established FL SUS BOG compliance regulations, policy, and guidelines, and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.- Works collaboratively within the Financial Affairs Division, the university, and with various aspects of public procurement, including sourcing and developing new suppliers, ITN, ITB, and RFP processes, contract review, price negotiations, and all identified stakeholders.- Serves as a mentor and active team member to all Procurement staff members.- Serves as the consultant/liaison responsible for explaining policy to stakeholders and providing resources and information to internal and external partners.- Serves as liaison between suppliers, departments, and other related stakeholder groups for contract development, negotiation, administration, and instruction.- Analyze and review requisitions, specifications, scope of work, and other business documents as required to ensure the best value and the most efficient and effective purchasing practices.- Provide all stakeholders with excellent customer service for the acquisition of quality goods and services at the best possible price in the most efficient, timely manner per each specific contract.- Work with various aspects of public procurement, including sourcing and developing new suppliers.- Collects, organizes, and crafts informational data reports.- Serves as backup for various Procurement roles.- Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience required.

Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills are required.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel are required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Proficient with public bid platforms (Jaggaer) and issuing formal and informal solicitations.

Adaptability and the ability to prioritize and multitask are key in our fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, where departmental and university needs often require quick action.

Higher Education, Workday Procurement, and Workday Strategic Sourcing experience.

**Salary**:
$85,000 - $95,000 per year.
